Trunk or Treat

It's that time of year again! Fall is upon us and the holidays are coming on quickly. Candy and costumes fill the aisles in the stores and children can't wait to go Trick-or-Treating! Here at MVBC our youth will be hosting a Trunk-or-Treat on Sunday the 31st from 4:00-6:o0 p.m. on our church campus! Come with your costume, your bag, and your sweet tooth! You won't be disappointed!

KidStuf Live

Well, we are off to a great start this Fall! KidStuf Live is going great and we are excited to see all the families coming out to learn with their kids! The small group studies have been a great success and the kids are loving it! Stay tuned for more info coming soon on upcoming events!

Friendship

Resurrection Eggs

KidStuf was a little different yesterday - each family made their own set of Resurrection Eggs. As we go through this week leading up to Easter it's important to remember the significance of all Jesus did during this week.

Easter is a lot more than egg hunts and fancy clothes and candy (although, I personally LOVE the candy). Remember this week that Jesus gave himself to die on the cross in order to pay for our sins and provide a way for us to be reconciled with God. But, it doesn't end there, on Easter morning Jesus rose from the dead and went back to heaven to be with His Father.

Circle of Friends

Circle of Friends met tonight. We had snacks (of course!), crafts and watched Toy Story - which is, apparently, a huge favorite. One young man quoted the entire movie word for word - he said it was his favorite movie ever and he was not joking!

As always, it is such a blessing to be able to spend a few moments loving on these boys and girls. Here are a few photos from our craft time...

This week at KidStuf we learned about honesty - choosing to be truthful in all you say and do. We also learned that Cami and Gordo have some pretty sweet dance moves.

Honor Awards

What a fun month it has been at KidStuf. We've studied Honor this month and talked about letting others know you see how valuable they are. Yesterday, we honored a lot of people at the first ever KidStuf Honor Awards.
